ANALISI E CONSERVAZIONE DELLE RISORSE GENETICHE FORESTALI ITALIANE

L'obbiettivo del workshop consiste nel presentare e discutere le problematiche relative
all'analisi e alla conservazione delle risorse genetiche forestali italiane. In accordo
con quanto previsto da programmi coordinati a livello comunitario (European Forest Genetic
Resources Programme, EUFORGEN), viene prefigurato l'obbiettivo di identificare i principi
su cui basare i programmi e le linee tecniche di conservazione.
La riunione si rivolge al mondo della ricerca e a coloro che sono direttamente coinvolti
nella gestione delle risorse forestali, di riserve e parchi naturali: Servizi Forestali
Regionali, Servizi del Ministero dell'Ambiente, Comunità Montane, Corpo Forestale dello
Stato, ecc.

Alternatively, entry forms can be completed and returned electronically from the form

The organising committee will consider all applications for contributed papers. It is
unlikely that there will be time available to include all of them. Those not chosen will
be asked to present posters. The committee's decision is final. Abstracts from
all presenters will be required by mid January 1999. Instructions for preparation will be
sent to all paper and poster entries.
Booking forms for registration and accommodation will be sent to all contributors and all
SEB members towards the end of 1998. If anyone else would like to attend please
contact the SEB web page or Dr. Richard Napier. Student members of the SEB can apply to
the Society for financial support if they are making a contribution to the meeting.

Cari Soci,
di seguito riportiamo una proposta di linee tematiche guida per il
prossimo (2°) congresso della Societa' Italiana di Selvicoltura ed
Ecologia Forestale, che si svolgerà a Bologna alla fine di settembre
1999. Chiunque voglia proporre integrazioni, aggiunte, suggerimenti,
ecc. alle tematiche proposte e' pregato di inviare un messaggio e-mail
all'indirizzo borg@eagle.dsa.unipr.it entro e non oltre le due settimane
dal ricevimento di questo messaggio. Le proposte pervenute saranno
oggetto di discussione alla prossima riunione del Comitato Direttivo
della Societa', che le integrera' nella stesura definitiva del primo
annuncio del congresso. Il Comitato Direttivo avra' inoltre il compito
di definire la composizione del Comitato Scientifico del Congresso e di
nominare i membri del Comitato Organizzatore, vagliando le proposte di
partecipazione provenienti dai soci. La stesura definitiva del primo
annuncio del Congresso verra' inviata sia via lettera postale e via
e-mail entro breve.
