PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

The Master Course is finalised toward the formation of the professionals endowed with knowledge and know-how necessary for identifying, evidencing and solving the problems connected with sustainable management of sites contaminated either naturally or accidentally by organics and inorganics, with a multidisciplinary knowledge at European level and international level, who can relate to and interact with Public Administrations, agencies, companies, public opinion and environmental organisations. The professionals formed by the Master Course will possess knowledge and know-how necessary for realising the mapping, the programming of interventions, the prediction and the evaluation of their results, acting both on the scientific-analytical and on the operational level. In detail, the personnel formed within the Master Course will possess knowledge and know-how needed to:

Elaboration of monitoring projects of the effects exerted by pollutants and contaminants.
Elaboration of projects for recovery and remediation of sites contaminated by polluting and contaminating substances.
Promotion of utilisation of technologies with low environmental impact adapted to specific fields of activity.
Promotion of the utilisation of environment-friendly technologies for disposal of wastes and residues.
Recognition of the conditions in landscape and environment in order to address the interventions on the territory.

PARTICIPATION

Graduates from Engineering Faculties and Scientific Faculties, including Earth Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Sciences, Natural Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies, Agricultural Sciences (or similar) having achieved a 5-years degree. Operators, employees, managers of public agencies and companies having achieved equivalent degrees in Italian or foreign Universities.
